Dear Mr. Anderson,
In accordance with the provision allowed by Condition 57.A of Radioactive Material License
UT2300249, EnergySolutions herein requests a 15-day extension from the Utah Division of
Waste Management and Radiation Control for management of the railcars listed below. Mnior
equipment failures and residual receipt backlog from the Rotary annual Best Available
Technology inspection have challenged EnergySolutions' ability to timely manage rail shipments
that arrived June 11, 2018 within the 7-day limit required by License Condition 57.A (to expire
June 26, 2018).
