Dear Mr. Anderson,
In accordance with the provision allowed by Condition 57.A of Radioactive Material License
UT2300249, EnergySolutions herein requests a 15-day extension from the Utah Division of
Waste Management and Radiation Control for management of the railcars listed below. Track
and a rail switch leading to the Rotary Facility was damaged from a minor derailment (no waste
was released or packages dislodged), making it temporarily inaccessible.. EnergySolutions will
not be able to timely manage rail shipments that arrived June 1 and 4, 2018 within the 7-day
limit required by License Condition 57.A.
