Dear Mr. Anderson,
In accordance with the provision allowed by Condition 57.A of Radioactive Material License
UT2300249, EnergySolutions herein requests a 15-day extension from the Utah Division of
Waste Management and Radiation Control for management of the railcars listed below. The
Rotary Facility has been taken temporarily out of service during its annual Best Available
Technology Inspections and associated repair. EnergySolutions will not be able to timely manage
rail shipments that arrived May 28, 2018 within the 7-day limit required by License Condition
57.A.
