Unloaded Volume Increase Revised LLRW Bond
Dear Mr. Anderson,
In a letter dated March 26, 2018, EnergySolutions requested approval to increase the
volume of unloaded waste allowed at the Clive Facility (CD18-0060) to 22,000 cubic
yards. The request included an increase in LLRW surety funding from $49,929,664.68 to
$50,005,828.16. The request was approved by the Division of Waste Management and
Radiation Control in a letter dated April 26, 2018.
EnergySolutions herein provides proof of funding for this approval. The attached surety
bond rider (increasing Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company bond number to
$10,109,048.56) provides required increases to the funding for the LLRW Facility.
Furthermore, a rider to the bond is attached that changes the name of the Obligee from
'Director of the Utah Division of Radiation Control' to 'Director of the Utah Division of
Waste Management and Radiation Control.'
