RE: Compliance Evaluation Inspection Boulder Class IV Landfill SW188
Dear Mayor Muse: On June 19, 2018, the Boulder Class IV Landfill was inspected by a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control to determine compliance with the Utah Solid Waste Permitting and
Management Rules and the landfill permit. Overall, the facility was in compliance with the permit and applicable solid waste rules. However, please ensure that the waste in the Class IV waste trench gets covered with six inches of soil every calendar month. At the time of the inspection, it appeared that this waste had not been covered for some time.
