Dear Mr. Fowden: The Payson City Class V and VI landfills were inspected by a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control on May 30, 2018. The landfills were well operated. At the Class V
landfill, daily cover is applied to a working face that is of reasonable size. Fencing and signs were intact
at both sites. No significant household or non-construction and demolition waste was present in the Class VI cell. Very little windblown litter was visible in the area in or outside the facility. New portable litter fences
were in place downwind of the working face. The road to the landfill and the adjacent properties
appeared to be free of litter. The green waste composting operation area was clean and well operated. Load inspection records were complete and available. We appreciate your efforts to operate the facility in compliance with current regulations. If you have any
