RE: Carbon County Class IV Landfill
Compliance Evaluation Inspection

Dear Commissioner Hopes:
The Carbon County Class IV Landfill was inspected by a representative of the Division of Waste
Management and Radiation Control on May 29, 2018. Curtis Page, Daniel Campbell, Paula Lindt and
Don Johnston participated in the inspection. Their assistance is appreciated.

The inspection included the MSW bins, metals accumulation pile, refrigerator and freezer accumulation area, the concrete pile, the tire pile and the tipping face of the landfill. An examination of the random
and quarterly inspections as well as the training records of landfill personnel was also conducted. All of
these items were found to be in compliance with the permit and the solid waste management rules.
