RE: Compliance Evaluation Inspection
Fish Springs NWR Class IIb Landfill SW189 Dear Mr. Allen:

On May 21, 2018, the Fish Springs NWR Class IIb Landfill was inspected by a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control to determine compliance with the Utah Solid Waste Permitting and Management Rules and the landfill permit.
Overall, the facility was in compliance with the permit and applicable solid waste rules. Please make
sure that the waste is covered with six inches of soil once a day according to R315-303-4(4)(a) of the Utah Administrative Code (Solid Waste Rules) and the solid waste permit. If you have any questions, please call Rob Powers at [phone] or Roy Van Os at [phone].
