Box 144880 Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4880 Subject: Disposal of PacifiCorp Mining Industrial Waste Material in the Huntington Class Mb Industrial Landfill (Permit 0002R) Dear Mr. Anderson, PacifiCorp is in the process of the demolition and reclamation of the Deer Creek Mine sites in the Deer Creek and Rilda Canyons above the Huntington Power Plant. During the demolition of the sites PacifiCorp will generate approximately 2,000 cubic yards of reinforced concrete and approximately ten tons of office material which consists of mainly paper. The concrete and office material debris are nonhazardous and will contain no free liquids. PacifiCorp requests that the debris be allowed to be disposed of in the Huntington Industrial Waste Landfill. A written response to the request would be appreciated.
