Re: Plan of Operation for Land Application at Freedom Farms, Inc.
Dear Mr. Anderson:
Came I Corp. ("Carne") withdraws the application for a Plan of Operation to land apply
food waste products to agricultural land at Freedom Farms, Inc. in Box Elder County. Came
submitted the application on November 18, 2017 to the Utah Department of Environmental
Quality ("DEQ") on behalf of Freedom Farms, Inc.
Came requests that DEQ rescind its March 1, 2018 letter approving the Plan of Operation
due to information that came to light since March 1 and concerns of community members.
Carne will discontinue its plans to operate a land application site at Freedom Farms, Inc.
effective immediately.
