Cleanwaste is the leading manufacturer of human waste management solutions. We
manufacture products in Montana that allow for safe, sanitary and environmentally positive
waste management when plumbing is not available. Our products are portable, environmentally
conscious toilet systems. The most popular system includes a disposable Go Anywhere Toilet
Kit® which is a biodegradable, double bag waste collection system that contains a proprietary
blend of ingredients known as Poo Powder® waste treatment. Our waste treatment gels liquid
human waste into a solid, which then encapsulates the solid human waste, and deodorizes it.
Poo Powder® also contains a decay catalyst to initiate the breakdown of solid human waste.
We are requesting that your department grant us re-approval for disposing of our products in
Utah landfills, just as disposable diapers are. Our biodegradable system treats the waste on
contact. The bags themselves are made from a starch base that degrades when in a landfill
environment. Research shows that biodegradation occurs anywhere from six months in moist
humid areas, to two years in dry desert climates. The gelling agent is similar to what is in
disposable diapers.
We do have landfill approval letters from nearly all of the states but are seeking re-approval to
keep our records up to date. The letters on file date back as far as 2000. The Bureau of Land
Management has approved the use of Go Anywhere Toilet Kits® as an ideal means to protect the
environment and leave no trace in many remote regions of our National Park Systems. Our
military currently uses our products in the field in Iraq and Afghanistan.
