We have farmed and lived in this area for more than 20 years and wish to continue to do this without the constant nuisance of bugs, flies, and birds brought on by this horrible smell which comes from this rotten product. l don't want us or anyone else in our community to have to deal with non-stop problems that will most certainly come by allowing this waste to be dumped. We live just outside of Fielding (about a mile). The property that is permitted to have this waste dumped on it sits approximately one mile north of our home. We have a young family and we do not want any of these negative problems and horrible smell to affect our family. We do not want our home, kids and life to suffer because of this waste. We don't want to be forced to stay indoors or away from our home because of the rotten smell and other nuisances that will accrue. Farmers also neighbor this ground directly in every direction. This will create a problem for them with the attraction of bugs, flies, birds and possibly more. All these problems will have a direct effect on their crops. A horrible smell, along with the nuisance of bugs, birds etc. will cause issue with their ability to be able to work effectively outside near the waste. This is a huge concern and problem for all farmers in this area because this impacts their livelihood greatly! There are many others that will also be negatively affected by the distribution of this product. Fielding, Beaver Dam and Plymouth are 3 neighboring communities all of which will be affected by all the nuisances that will come if allowed. Fielding Elementary School is only a few miles away from the property which will surely be affected. Other nearby communities, ( l didn't list) might also be affected. Todd Lish (to whom the permit was given) does NOT live in, or near this community. He obviously doesn't care how it will affect those of us who DO! Dumping this waste and allowing Todd Lish to continue with these "Non-typical farming practices" will have no affect on him. However, It will cause huge problems for the people who actually are living and working in or near this community! l believe WE who actually live here, should have the say in what happens to our community...NOT the man who happened to find some ground to buy...! We as people in this community do NOT want to suffer with all the nuisances and problems that this waste will bring, some of which we are probably still unaware! l am sure that most members of the community are currently unaware of the what is in the process, but l am certain that if needed they would be willing to do whatever it takes to stop this from happening. Because of the time factor in this matter, l felt it necessary to send this letter ASAP in hopes to stop this process before it gets any further. Please do NOT allow any dumping on this or any other ground neighboring this community. Sincerely, and Amber Richards ity,AL0,ech,thd9
