North Pointe Solid Waste District Transfer Station SW141 Dear Mr. Harper:
On April 12, 2018, the North Pointe Transfer Station was inspected by a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control. We appreciate the assistance of Billy Hansen during the inspection.
Signs were posted identifying site safety and acceptable wastes. The commercial and public access inside the transfer station facility were well-operated. Metal recycling bins and a household hazardous waste drop-off area were in the bay but away from the disposal areas. The MSW and residential disposal areas were well-operated at the time of inspection.
Cardboard was collected and bailed at the time of inspection. The outside construction demolition material disposal area was well-operated and appeared to be litter-free. Record keeping of facility operations and routine inspections were reviewed and in good order.
