Fielding waste permit

Hi Patrick
Thank you for calling me back and explaining your understanding of the proposed waste.
Our concern is that this is the same product that is dumped in areas like the waste being dumped in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Acid whey byproduct has been in the news and on the internet from location around the US, and is identified as toxic
waste that has a stench that is beyond tolerable, the rotten smell taking over the area with an increase of rodents, pests,
birds in the area. Acid whey also has potential to contaminate the water in the area causing animal life to be at risk. Some
areas report that there water becomes like the dead sea killing fish and other wildlife.
In some areas around the world there are requirements of distance, trees, and cement barriers that are in place to protect
the waterways, drinking water, environment, animal life of which none of these are in place with the closest home less
than 2 miles away and our town is 2 1/2 miles from the field.
What happens when the land can't support the large numbers of gallons of liquid whey, especially if we have a wet
season like the winter of 2016-17?
Where will the underground water contaminates go ...our Underground Spring, our personal wells where many homes in
the community use it as their only source of drinking water, also will it affect the leach fields of our septic tanks.
If the permit is issued, what guarantee is there that the product won't shift with the needs of the company. Also is there
potential for environmental harm and are there limits on the permit. Is there EPA feedback on this.
f he road to get to the field is not designed to handle large trucks without driving on Lorna Moss' property, as I visited with her at times she ends up with ruts in her lawn when people turn left at the corner, the streets are not wide enough to
support the proposed traffic this will add to the community, not to mention the traffic past the elementary school.
I'm sure I left something out, as we have many questions in wanting to understand this and also wanting our community
to remain a safe environment for many years to come.
Thank you for your time and attention
