Dear Ms. Mercer:
TriCounty Health Department states that the tire pile located at 1647 NORTH 1500 WEST. VERNAL. UINTAH
COUNTY. UT is abandoned as defined in Utah Code Annotated 19-6-803(1) and that no other tires have been
added to the abandoned Tire Pile. The tires located in this pile are eligible for clean-up funds available through
the state of Utah.
TriCounty Health Department met with the Family Trust and Uintah County representatives on site and could
not determine who placed the tires on the property. No tires have been added to the pile since 1980.
