Hi Brandon,
I'm reviewing the updated DWSP plan for Doug Fife Scout Ranch's Well, received on December 19, 2022. No implementation documentation was provided showing that the
system performed land management strategies for uncontrolled PCSs. The original plan inventoried the camp septic system and a private residence as uncontrolled potential
contamination sources. The system agreed to distribute factsheets on septic systems to the residents and to brief camp staff on the contents of the septic factsheet.
Please confirm if this has been completed since 2016 and if so, provide a copy of the material distributed. If this has not been done, please do so as soon as possible and
provide a copy and date of distribution. As a reminder, public water systems must implement land management strategies at least once per update cycle (six years) to meet
the implementation requirement. The date of implementation and a copy of the material should be included in every updated plan. Applicable factsheets are attached for your
convenience.
I can provide 90 days from the date of this email to receive this information before I draft a formal disapproval letter and IPS points are assigned.

Thank you for your email in regards to the updated DWSP plan for Doug Fife Scout Ranch’s Well.
Attached are the fact sheets on septic systems that were shared with Camp Fife’s neighbor and discussed with the seasonal camp staff.
The contents of the fact sheets were shared and discussed with the camp staff during their “training week” at camp on June 5, 2024.
A copy of the fact sheets were delivered to the neighbor on Friday, June 14, 2024.
