HomeMy WebLinkAboutDDW-2024-008354Mr. Wright: The Red Canyon Village Water Well and Storage Project is substantially complete. To the best of my knowledge, all conditions of Plan Approval have been accomplished. The project included upgrading an existing well and installing a 2,500 gallon water tank. The water has been tested according to ANSI/AWWA C651-14 AWWA Standard for Disinfecting Water Mains. Bacteriological sample tests were taken from the well and cafe. The cafe is immediately downstream from the tank. Results (negative coliform) are included. As-built Plans are being delivered to you and the owner. There were no major changes to the project. We are waiting for a ventless, hinged, lockable lid for the water tank. It should come in the mail any day. We are requesting permission to send you documentation that the lid has been installed a few days from now. We would like to avoid immediate interruption of water service. The tank does have a lid (an unapproved lid) and the tank is inside of a locked building. We will install the approved lid as soon as we get it. Location data is: Well:Latitude: 37.74914 Longitude: -112.36316 Pump Building:Latitude: 37.74921 Longitude: -112.36363 It is my opinion that the completed project conforms (with the exception of the lid to be replaced) to the requirements of the State Drinking Water Regulations. Please issue an operating permit for the project. If you have questions, please call. Thank you for your help. Respectfully, Lynn Wall, P.E. Wall Engineering, Inc. p.c.Aramark c/o Dean Hutchings P.O.
