Permit/AO#: Experimental Approval Order (EAO) DAQE-141780007-22 dated October 6, 2022 Action Code: TR Subject: Review of stack test report dated February 27, 2024 On April 25, 2024, Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) received a test report for Curing Oven Outlet, Curing Oven Charge Inlet, and the Curing Oven Discharge Inlet at Owens Corning Fiberglass Manufacturing Facility, Juab County, Utah. Testing was performed February 27, 2024, to determine VOC emission rates and system destruction efficiency of an untested bio-oxidation scrubber. The destruction efficiency of a new bio-oxidation scrubber was being determined with this test. See condition II.B.1.b of Experimental Approval Order DAQE-AN141780007-22 dated October 6, 2022. 2 DEVIATIONS: None. CONCLUSION: The stack test report appears to be acceptable. RECOMMENDATION: The destruction efficiency from the bio-oxidation scrubber should be considered to have been 86.9% ppmvd and 82.0% lb/hr during testing.
