Re: Sunroc Corporation – Temporary Relocation/Operation, Notice of Intent – Utah County

Your Notice of Intent dated November 8, 2023, to relocate a portable generator to the temporary
project for Sunroc Corporation’s facility located at 750 South 1700 East, Salem, Utah, was
received by the Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) and has been reviewed.

The following equipment has been approved for operation for this temporary project:

Cat 3408 415 Hp generator

This location is a permanent aggregate processing operation. All generators operating at this
location must be in accordance with the current AO for this address DAQE-AN0141550001-09
dated March 5, 2009. The operation of generators must comply with the opacity and fuel
requirements of Conditions II.B.8 through II.B.8.e.

Approval is granted to relocate and operate this equipment at the new location for a period not to
exceed 180 operational days. As per Utah Administrative Code (UAC) R307-401-17, the
operation of equipment at this temporary site may be for up to 180 working days in any calendar
year not to exceed 365 consecutive days, starting from the initial relocation date.

The owner/operator shall maintain records of the actual operation hours, and days of the above
referenced equipment at this relocation site and have the ability to submit the information to the
DAQ upon the request of representatives of the director. Please make certain that the plant
operator is aware of all the location specific requirements for this site and the conditions of the
aforementioned AO.

Utah Division of Water Quality Storm Water Permits and regulations may apply to this temporary
project. Please refer to https://secure.utah.gov/deq-dashboard/index.html for additional
information.

This approval for relocation in no way releases the owner or operator from any liability for
compliance with all other applicable federal, state, and local regulations including the UAC.
