NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT

DRY CREEK TRANSFER STATION
PLAN OF OPERATION
The Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) is considering the approval of a Plan of Operation (Plan) at the newly built Dry Creek Transfer Station
in Spanish Fork, Utah. The facility is owned and operated by South Utah Valley Solid Waste District (District). On February 26, 2024 the Division received the Planfrom the District.
The Plan has been reviewed and determined to be complete and in compliance with the Utah Solid Waste Permitting and Management Rules. The Plan allows the Dry Creek Transfer Station
to operate for ten years after the Plan has been approved. The Director of the Division is currently seeking public comment on this Plan.
A 45-day public comment period to receive comments on the Plan will commence on [start date] and end at 5 p.m. on [ end date].
