FIELD OBSERVATIONS:
Observed the 2024 annual groundwater sampling event perform by Wasatch Environmental. MW-1, MW-
6, and MW-11 were sampling during the Site visit. An MS/MSD was collected from MW-1 and a Duplicate
was collected from MW-6. It should be noted that tubing for the sampling was placed in the top two feet
of the water column. It is recommended that when sampling for VOCs the tubing be placed in the middle
of the well screen; or if the well screen is partially exposed, between the top of the water column and the
bottom of the well. Additionally, Wasatch field personnel claimed that the water level meter was not
working appropriately. Water level measurements were collected by placing the water level meter down
the well and watching for the meter to break the plane of the water table. The measurement was then
recorded. This is not ideal and might skew the potentiometric mapping and data from this sampling
event. However, based on the historical knowledge of the Site, groundwater flow is well established.
