Six locations were selected for sampling: one in Zone 2, and five in Zone 1. Specific locations of previous high concentrations are located onsite for waste characterization sampling using GPS coordinates. The entire soil column above native soils is extracted as a core and used for the five-point/entire soil column composite sample. The entire soil column may be used for the sample to ensure a large enough sample for TCLP analysis at locations where the fill materials are shallower. An aliquot from the highest concentration depth interval is included in the composite sample. Sampling equipment is decontaminated between borings by scrubbing with detergent water and using a pressurized spray. 4 Is the Work Being Performed in a Manner Consistent with the Approved Workplan(s)?
