Subject: EC Centerville property
Hi Daryl and Sam,
In looking at the EC, the address is listed in paragraph 3 as:
3. Property. This Environmental Covenant concerns the Property. The Property is located at 1250 West 400 South,
Davis County, Utah, and consists of an approximately 17-acre tract of real property, tax parcels numbered 060080134,
060120112, and 060120170. The Property is owned by Stokes Stevenson Centerville Flex, LLC, which purchased the
Property in 2022. The Property was previously owned and occupied by Trinity Highway Products (THP), who acquired the
Property from Syro, Inc. (Syro) in 1992.
Do you have any concerns if we print an attachment to our copy of the EC to clarify that the property is located in Centerville,
UT as opposed to just Davis County? Or would you rather re-sign an updated EC?
Please advise.
Thank you,
Paige

ENVIRONMENTAL COVENANT
1.This Environmental Covenant is entered into by Stokes Stevenson Centerville
Flex, LLC (Owner and Grantor) and the Director of the Division of Waste Management
and Radiation Control (Director) on behalf of the Utah Department of Environmental
Quality, pursuant to the Utah Uniform Environmental Covenants Act, Utah Code § 57-
25-101 et seq. (the Act), for the purpose of subjecting the real property described in
Paragraph 3 and Exhibit A attached hereto (the Property), to the activity and use
limitations set forth herein.
2.Notice of Contamination. Notice is hereby given that the Property is or may be
contaminated with hazardous waste, hazardous constituents, or solid waste, and
therefore the Property is subject to this Environmental Covenant to mitigate the risk to
human health and the environment.
3.Property. This Environmental Covenant concerns the Property. The Property is
located at 1250 West 400 South, Centerville, Utah, and consists of an approximately
17-acre tract of real property, tax parcels numbered 060080134, 060120112, and
060120170. The Property is owned by Stokes Stevenson Centerville Flex, LLC, which
purchased the Property in 2022. The Property was previously owned and occupied by
Trinity Highway Products (THP), who acquired the Property from Syro, Inc. (Syro) in
1992.
4.Environmental Response Project.
A.While Syro operated at the Property, it reportedly produced approximately 20,000
gallons of dilute spent pickling liquor (sulfuric acid solution) per month. From 1966 to
1971, spent pickling liquor was neutralized with lime and disposed of in an unlined
evaporation pond. From 1971 to 1974, these operations were moved to a second
unlined pond. After 1974, Syro filled both ponds with dirt. The ponds were later
designated solid waste management units (SWMUs) 1 and 2, respectively.
