RECOMMENDATION: The PM and HCl emissions appear to have been in compliance with the tested for permit limits at the time of testing. Box 144820 Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-4820 Attention: Harold Burge, Compliance Section Manager Reference: Operating Permit #2700010006 Dear Director Bird: Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) Testing of Intermountain Generating Station Intermountain Power Service Corporation (IPSC) is submitting performance test results for the Intermountain Generating Station (IGS) Unit 1. Performance testing included stack emissions measurements for both particulate matter and hydrochloric acid. Performance testing is required under 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart UUUUU, by Utah Administrative Code R307-214-2(97), and by IPSC’s Title V Operating Permit Section II.B.2.h. These tests were performed on January 9 and 10, 2024. The results of the testing show that IGS meets the standards set forth under MATS. I certify the following: • Testing was conducted while the source was operating at the rate and/or conditions specified in the applicable approval order, operating permit, or federal regulation. • During testing, the source combusted fuels, used raw materials, and maintained process conditions representative of normal operations, and operated under such other relevant conditions specified by the Executive Secretary. • Based on information and belief formed after reasonable inquiry, the statements and information in the document are true, accurate, and complete.
