This spill incident was immediately called in and reported and given the incident # 16915 . Please find the attached spill report for the details of this event and its cleanup . Resulting in approximately 55 gallons of hydraulic oil spilling to the ground in pit 116 on the drill pad. Cleanup and control action taken: Captured as much oil as possible, repaired the drill so it could be moved and the cleanup started. Contained spilled oil and cleaned up contaminated soil with a backhoe. The Petroleum-contaminated soil was placed in the storage truck bed in the laydown yard for later disposal at the Uintah County landfill. Effectiveness of cleanup operations: All the petroleum-contaminated soil was collected and hauled to the contaminated soil storage. The spill area was totally cleaned up. The petroleum-contaminated soil is stored until the storage area fills, at which time we obtain a permit from TriCounty Health and haul the petroleum-contaminated soil to the Uintah County landfill for permanent disposal.
