Dear Mr. Deputy,
In response to your recent visit to our facility we have addressed a number of issues that you brought to our
attention. Below is our response the individual concerns:
Make hazardous waste determination on drill cuttings.
The conffactor (Olympus Technical) handling this has been contacted and is now working to
complete this process.
Inspect containers weekly.
This is now being done and a log is being kept on premises.
Letters to Local emergency responders.
We have sent the appropriate letters.
Recycle Fluorescent Tubes.
Since we have not had a need to change any lights at this time we have not acted on this point.
We will address this issue when it becomes necessary.
Don't store hazardous waste of 180 days.
The contractor (Olympus) has assured us that this will not happen again.
Post Emergency numbers.
Numbers have been posted.
