Total inspection visits are adjusted so all visits for an installation at a facility count as one inspection only, generally during the month of the first visit. For later visits, the hours are counted, but they do not count as separate inspections. When responding to calls about possible unknown tanks, count time under "Investigations" if no regulated tanks are found during the course of the investigation; count time under "Non-notifiers" if any regulated tanks are found.
