Testing was performed October 11, 2023, to demonstrate compliance with the emission limits found in condition 40 CFR 63, Subpart ZZZZ. The calculated test results are: Source Test Date Pollutant Method Tester Results Limits 400 kW Generator Engine October 11, 2024 CO 10 29.91 ppmvd @ 15% O2 23 ppmvd @ 15% O2 DEVIATIONS: The stack test was canceled after the first run when it was noted that the emissions were beyond the emission limit found in subpart ZZZZ. CONCLUSION: The stack test report appears to be incomplete. RECOMMENDATION: The emissions from the 400 kW diesel generator engine should be considered to have been out of compliance with the emission limits of 40 CFR 63, Subpart ZZZZ during testing. An Early Settlement Agreement (DAQC-038-24) was sent on January 17, 2024, for the failed stack test, which was originally reported on January 12, 2024. A response is expected by February 20, 2024.
