Is a receipt from the Post Office adequate or do you need something more specific? Looks like the flyer informs readers of the protection zones, discusses the risks of contamination, and directs readers to factsheets for best management practices. I'd say this fulfills the public education requirement. Please let me know when these are distributed and we can get the updates concurred with. If you have the time, would you consider reviewing the flyer? I will happily incorporate any edits you suggest. If and when this meets your approval, I will be sending the completed flyer out to all property owners within the protected zone as quickly as possible. 2/20/24, 8:23 AM State of Utah Mail - RE: [EXTERNAL]: Re: Following up on Cedar City Groundwater Source Protection Plan Corrections https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ik=d42b33a28c&view=pt&search=all&permthid=thread-f:1790162392224930945&simpl=msg-f:1790162392224930945&simpl=msg-a:r5490531355275472453&simpl=…2/3 Thank you for your response, Lisa Benson Noah Zorsky <nzorsky@utah.gov>Tue, Feb 6, 2024 at 8:31 AM To: Mary Lisa Benson <bmarylisa@cedarcityut.gov> Since you've provided the flyer, no need to attach it again. Just send me an email after they've been mailed confirming the date of distribution and confirming that these flyers were received by all residences within the protection zones. For all future plan updates, please include one generic copy of the flyer and indicate the date of distribution to residences in the protection zones. These flyers need to be sent at least once every update cycle (six years) to meet the public education requirement.
