Box 37 Corrine, UT 84307 Subject: Notice of Source Reactivations, Source Protection Requirements for West Corinne Water Co, UTAH02022 Cary Michael Mcfarland: Following a Sanitary Survey conducted in September 2023, the Division of Drinking Water (the Division) became aware of several springs which are in use but were listed as inactive in the Divisions database. The springs include Lowest Spring (identified as WS001 in the Divisions database), Second Lowest Spring (WS002) and Third Lowest Spring (WS003). Because the springs combine with the Main Spring (WS004) and have been routinely sampled at Sampling Station – 01 02 03 04 (SS223) prior to entering the distribution system, these springs are current on all source sampling requirements. The formal reactivation of the springs listed above does not change your system’s monitoring requirements. Source Protection Requirement Updated Drinking Water Source Protection (DWSP) plans are due by December 31, 2023 for all active spring sources. Please submit updates to your DWSP plan for these sources by the required due date. Please call (801) 536-4200 and ask to speak to the source protection staff if you have questions about this requirement.
