Hello, Chris Nolan told me you guys were still thinking over aspects of your land use. I am hoping to get my few
comments I have on his QAPP out to him next week.
In the meantime, I was wondering what you have decided in terms of the land use issue, and also if you have any updates
or if you could give us a report on the charging station that was installed.
Thank you,
Leigh Anderson

Leigh,
Thanks for reaching out. Here are the answers to your questions:
SLC Intermodal hub redevelopment:
Thanks for the update on the SLC Intermodal hub QAPP process, we look forward to receiving the approved document. Whe
documentation to reapply for the VCP, UTA was considering residential land use on the ground level as part of the redevelopm

SLC Intermodal hub 3rd bus charger station:
Here is the update on the charger:
Aug 17 to Aug 22 – Preliminary activities associated with the 3rd charger were completed (environmental sampling).
Aug 23 – Horizontal boring started and some concrete at charger location was broken up.
Aug 24 to Aug 28 – Concrete surfaces were broken up and removed between.
Aug 29 to Aug 30 – Soils were excavated via vacuum truck and disposed of at ET Technologies (due to being moisture conten
contaminant concentrations).
Aug 31 to Sep 12 – Rebar was installed and concrete foundation was poured.
Sep 13 – Concrete surfaces were poured and have been curing since that time. Electrical utilities are in place and I believe w
concrete to cure before placing the actual bus charging equipment. The location currently looks like this:

Leigh,
I wanted to give you a final update on the third bus charger at the Salt Lake City Intermodal Hub property. I am unsure
what the hold up is, but this project continues to be nearly complete with all ground surfaces covered. Here is the project
timeline:
Aug 17 to Aug 22 – Preliminary activities associated with the 3rd charger were completed (environmental sampling).
Aug 23 – Horizontal boring started and some concrete at charger location was broken up.
Aug 24 to Aug 28 – Concrete surfaces were broken up and removed between.

Aug 29 to Aug 30 – Soils were excavated via vacuum truck and disposed of at ET Technologies (due to being moisture
content, not due to contaminant concentrations).
Aug 31 to Sep 12 – Rebar was installed and concrete foundation was poured.
Sep 13 – Concrete surfaces were poured and have been curing since that time. Electrical utilities are in place and I
believe we are waiting on the concrete to cure before placing the actual bus charging equipment.
Sep 26 – Equipment and cabinet mounted.
Oct 10 – Pentagraph placed.
Oct 11 – Pentagraph utility connections made
Oct 19-Nov 14 – Pentagraph nearly done, and I am not sure what the project needs. There are no exposed soils and
have not been any exposed soils since ~Sept 13, 2023. See attached photos for current status.
I hope this information is sufficient for your records. Unless I hear otherwise, I will consider this email the requested
project closeout memo and consider the project closed.
Thanks so much,
Sean Thal

Thanks for the update, always appreciated. I would agree that I didn't see the drilling produced much in the way of
potentially impacted soil and it didn't seem like anything you were doing to install this between then and now would be
more likely than the drilling itself to produce anything.
